Paz De Cristo
Mission and Vision

At Paz de Cristo, we believe everyone is a child of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Paz de Cristo serves those in need with a daily meal service, food boxes and empowerment programs. We are committed to our community and through the collaboration with many dedicated volunteers-- including diverse faith communities--we feed the hungry and help provide resources for those seeking the basic necessities of life. Paz also provides community referrals to housing and medical care, and offers preparation for meaningful work.

Paz de Cristo History

Founded in September 1988 as a ministry of St. Timothy Catholic Community in Mesa, Paz de Cristo's original purpose was to feed the
homeless and migrant field workers
in the East Valley via community
delivered meals. As the ministry evolved, Paz de Cristo moved to its current location where those in need receive daily meal service, nutritious food boxes and the opportunity to engage in empowerment programs to improve the quality of their lives.
